Somehow missed this synopsis, otherwise I would have gone "Ona Grauer," oh, the Ancient lady from Stargate Atlantis! She was in the beginning of the pilot, "The Rising," and really, barely had anything to say as I recall, if she even spoke, so was quite happy to see her putting in a great performance in tonight's episode. And wow, Ramona Milano - Frannie from DUE SOUTH!!

Glad they followed up on Greg's visit to his kid, which was sad, and how when Ed first came by to ask out Greg's date went, the men went on about 'hormone treatments', etc., as hey, they're guys, they don't 'talk.' ;)

Donna (Jessica Steen) didn't get to do much in this episode, except show Sam's definite discomfort with her presence, while Jules recovers in the hospital, or at home. While much of the team doesn't seem to notice, Ed did, so I'm thinking that in next week's episode, I think Donna will prove her mettle and save Sam's life, and he'll accept her as a member of the team. I think he doesn't want to as that would mean Jules wouldn't be back.

Overall, liked it. The hostage getting killed would have come out of left field had CBS NOT shown that particular scene (gah, spoilers, folks! but still not as bad as Sci Fi, who is the champion in ruining their own shows). And wow, snow, they actually filmed in snow (well, it is Toronto) and talk about blue skies. Sure don't get that in L.A.

Thumbs up :)
