Lots of news this week!

First, there are Dragoncon videos
. You can find Paul McGillion, Jason Momoa, Michael Shanks, Ben Browder and more.

Friday panel with Martin Gero, Ben Browder, Christopher Judge, Corin Nemec, John DeLancie
Saturday panel with Jason Momoa, Paul McGillion, Ben Browder, Michael Shanks, Lexa Doig, Alaina Huffman, Martin Gero
Monday panel with Jason Momoa, Jewel Staite, Alaina Huffman, Michael Shanks, Lexa Doig, Martin Gero

If Joe and David could harness their fans’ energy, they could rule the world, or least crash Twitter. Joe posted a #whitelies contest – post white lies, and the #factgasm. The former had many that you’d recognize, and the latter had a lot of weird facts (and a few that weren’t quite right, the perils of the internet). Needless to say, fans who got retweeted by Joe were probably in heaven. I am still waiting to be retweeted. Perhaps he is scared of my twitter name… ; ) And he’s sent out a few tweets from the set of his Toronto production this week.

Meanwhile, http://www.harbourfrontcentre.com/upfront/2010/09/best-laid-plans/ has some behind-the-scenes photos from his new made-for-TV movie, “Best Laid Plans.” Joe is in two of the photos (on stage, right, pics 1 and 3). You have to look really hard to find him!

Also, @GracieValenti: From Gateworld, news of Joe Flanigan "on a bicycle" http://bit.ly/aJtuVC

He didn’t get to Dragoncon, alas, but Paul McGillion and Jason Momoa did talk about him at the Stargate panels (see above)

David posted on twitter “
Rachel Weisz, Monica Bellucci, David Stathairn and Vanessa Redgrave and THIS is the clip for Whistleblower?! http://bit.ly/a9sGsa Sweet!” He actually gets to do more than eat in this clip ;)

David was interviewed at Gateworld.
David Hewlett: Oh, “The Shrine’s” fantastic. “The Shrine” is like one of those great parts that you only get to do in sci-fi. It’s an imaginary disease, so you get to play all the sympathy and all the comedy and all of the confusion and pathos and, you know. Pathos, is that even the right word? I don’t want to use the wrong word.  REST AT LINK ABOVE

There are a couple of trailers for his upcoming HBO series “Game of Thrones”.
Official teaser trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAZzCFPcLoo&feature=youtu.be&a
Behind the scenes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjY6QnOPcoI&feature=player_embedded

You can also view him on Dragoncon videos (see above). Love how Ben Browder was the unofficial censor.

“I knew this s**t would haunt me” Jason’s humorous comment to fan about Joe’s tweets about them meeting in Ireland. They hadn’t seen each other in eight months, and went to a hurling match and drank Guinness.

Here is a photo from Dragoncon that is, well, whoa!

Has updated his blog!
Lookit this - cool huh - brand new little movie: Voodoo. And we're going to be at the Vancouver International Film Festival. That'll be cool. Might finally meet Terry David Mulligan. (He still around?..)
There's also Vcon coming the first few days of October, which is also cool -and offers more than just a Convention - it'll be the first screening of The Beast in the Lower Mainland. Come on down. Ask Craig March why he keeps getting cast as donut eating cops. He'll be there in all his cuteness. If the shoe fits Craig...

The Beast of Bottomless Lake, will have its first public Vancouver screening at the 2010 Vancouver’s Convention of Science Fiction and Fantasy (VCON).
The film will screen on Saturday, October 2, at 1 pm, followed by a panel discussion with Kennedy Goodkey (writer), Craig March (Director), David Nykl (Dr. Paul Moran), Bronwen Smith (Dr. Leslie Morgenstern), Roger Haskett (Neville Bernard Vincent St. John Honey III) Melanie Blackwell (The Peg-leg Princess) Phil Mahoney (Composer) Mike Jackson (editor), Scott John (Producer), and Rebecca Coleman (Publicist).
The Beast of Bottomless Lake screens at 1 pm on Saturday, October 2 as part of VCON. The screening will take place in the Seymour/Whistler rooms at The Vancouver Airport Marriott Hotel, 7571 Westminster Highway, Richmond.

You can view a video of the Stargate panels – which had Paul McGillion and Jason Momoa – at http://benbrowder.net/news.html - this is a lengthy video, focused mostly (of course) on Ben Browder, but it’s fun nevertheless. A fan asked Martin Gero why they killed Beckett. Paul McGillion’s remarks are hysterical, as are Jason’s remarks to that particular question.

And (since he’s NOT on twitter)…

Stargate Atlantis' Rachel Luttrell Answers Your Questions (Part 1)
How would you describe the relationship between John and Teyla? Did you see anything beyond a friendship? (from Julie V.)
Hello, Julie V. I would describe the relationship between John and Teyla as being complicated. And yes, I think that their feelings for one another did extend beyond friendship.

Jewel Staite talks about Firefly fights, her dream role and more

#3: Will you be appearing on Stargate: Universe?
That's a great question. Did you hear that one, Syfy? Thoughts? I still have the same phone number, in case you were wondering how to reach me! Unless you want me in prosthetics, in which case, I'm super slammed. With, like, this blog. And stuff.

Hey, see the Dragoncon video above. He’s got a wicked sense of humor.

Is NOT on twitter.

According to http://jaimeraynewman.info/, she will guest star in “Life Unexpected” this season.

Tweeted @Snywhip Deal is done. I'll be a small part of your watching experience on 'the listener' in season 2 I can't wait to have the chance to act again.

“The Listener” aired briefly on NBC but got cancelled, but it still lives on in Canada.

And that’s it for now.
